A pampered celebrity pooch has since birth played a fearless and indestructible TV superdog who rescues his mistress every week. More obsessive-compulsive than Hachiko, Bolt lives on-set and actually believes he has superpowers. Think Buzz Lightyear crossed with The Truman Show. But our hero encounters an existential predicament when one day he finds himself in the real world—well, the CG real world, anyway. Bolt is exuberant and fun, with lots of amusing side characters, and, while not quite Pixar-level, it’s got an old-time Disney flair to it. Voices by John Travolta and Miley Cyrus. DM approved for parents.
