Japanese coffee culture is alive and well at Café Trois Bagues, a quintessential kissaten (Japanese coffee house). Opened in 1976 by the mother of current owner Noriko Miwa, this retro hub heralds the heyday of Japan’s cafés, offering a quiet, bluesy refuge as well as a wide selection of hand-, flannel-, and slow-drip coffees.

Brewed using an array of imported and customized machinery, the offerings are delectable cups of java that, together with the laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff, make for a relaxed coffee break.
