Théodore Chassériau: Parfum Exotique

Théodore Chassériau is a French romantic painter who is famous for his portraits, historical and religious paintings, allegorical murals, and Orientalist images. His works such as “Arab Chiefs Visiting Their Vassals”  and “Jewish Women on a Balcony” are both displayed in the Louvre. The National Museum of Western Art will exhibit Chassériau’s 90 pieces, along with other paintings of Gustave Moreau and Odilon Redon.
