If you read my review of Feast, you’ll remember what a challenge it was for me to come up with 100 words on biker-bar patrons getting eaten by monsters. So how was I to approach these two sequels (next week comes Feast III, The Happy Finish)? Well, by ignoring them, of course. Call it retinal preservation. In this one, the hunted survivors take the action into town, and in III, somewhat fittingly, into the sewers. Fans of direct-to-DVD over-the-top gore (brutal rapes, exploding entrails, beheadings, excretions) may find some cult-picture merit in these films, but I sincerely hope none of them read this column.
