North Carolina native Jett Edwards is a man of many hats, both musical and otherwise. For the past twenty years he has built an international career as music producer, bassist, and R&B, soul, and gospel artist in Tokyo and the U.S.. His portfolio includes names such as Jackson Records, Five Blind Boys of Mississippi, and Leon Ware. As CEO of his own company and executive director of the thousand-voice Japan Mass Choir, Edwards is also heavily involved in introducing gospel music to international audiences. “There is a power in gospel music and it breathes in me,” he said in 2014. This September he returns to Japan for the “I Believe” tour and release of his new CD, Flesh & Bones.
