Butoh is an impressive and obscure form of dance that originated in post-war Japan in the 1950s. Now, its fame has spread all across the world. Za Koenji Public Theater will stage a butoh performance in March, as well as inviting various musicians to perform who are seven of the strongest sound artists of the generation, Keiji Haino (noise), Eiichi Hayashi (alto sax), Kei Kobayashi (DJ), Akira Sotoyama (percussion) and so on.
