Tokyo River Friends, a non-profit organization dedicated to cleaning Tokyo’s rivers, is holding an event at Edogawa river. They make volunteering productive as well as fun by including a picnic/ barbecue along the water as well as a chance to meet other like-minded volunteers.

Time: 1:00pm – 5:30pm

Location: Myoden Station (Tozai Line)

Volunteers meet right outside of the ticket gate at Myoden station and head over to the river together. If you happen to arrive late, it is a 25-minute walk from the station to the cleaning location which is on the Barakinakayama side of the river, behind the Clean Spa.
