French Masters of Art gather at the Tokyo National Museum

The Hyokeikan inside the Tokyo National Museum will introduce craftsmen/women from France, all certified as “Maître d’ Art”, or “Master of Art” by the French Ministry of Art.

The exhibition brings together 15 of the most talented French artistic craftsmen and women involved in ceramics, artistry with feathers, tortoiseshell glass, leather, straw, paper and textile. Don’t miss out on the panel discussions and conferences by art critics, professors, fashion designers and filmmakers.

There will also be activities and workshops for the little ones ages 10 and up, such as umbrella and parasol making, straw marquetry and feather artistry led by the French masters.

 Adults: ¥1,400 (1,200)

University students:¥ 1,000 (800) 

High school students:¥600 (400) 

Junior high school students and under: Free
