Los Angeles-based photographer Fumi Ishino primarily darts his artistic focus at his current resident town. Using techniques to manipulate light and space sequences, the black-and-white photography delivers an experimental visual dialogue that dares visitors to look at the social contours of the megacity. Various scenes of the high-end residential areas, museums, public facilities and suburbs gesture towards issues of social class, urban development, immigration and more. These thought-provoking photographs will be available on viewing through his exhibition “Tinted Lines”.
