CADAN Yurakucho will hold a group exhibition “Distorted Images” by SNOW Contemporary based in Nishi-Azabu.
All of the artists presented in this exhibition felt small distortions (Distorted Images) from their lives in this world and turn the feelings into their works from their own unique perspectives. For example, “apple,” a masterpiece of one of the the exhibiting artists –Yosuke Amemiya, is a sculpture of melted apples, adding a shift of “melting” to the universally shaped apples in everyday life, giving viewers a multiple perception of the world.
This exhibition “Distorted Images” will give you an opportunity to get to know the artists of SNOW Contemporary who have a keen critique and imagination about the real world.
