Some of the most unique species of all have gathered up in this one place. This is the perfect opportunity for those living in the midst of a boring, mundane life. In collaboration with Ikuo Hayakawa, the author of a best-selling book named Hen-na Ikimono, Sunshine Aquarium now has an unworldly site within it for a limited time. You will see the various animals selected for this exhibition by the aquarium staffs and Hayakawa, and you will not believe what you will see. The armadillo girdled lizard that adorably tries to protect itself by biting its own tail and rolling up, the Peters’ elephantnose fish that has a chin resembling an elephant’s trunk, and the epitome of fluffy animals known as the Angora rabbit, are only a few out of the many. It costs only ¥600, and will be even cheaper (¥400) if you have an annual pass or a ticket stub from the permanent exhibitions. If your’e looking for a new type of fun, this exhibition will give you just that.
