The ICC Kids Program, which has become an annual event during the summer vacation, is designed to nurture children’s curiosity and imagination by exposing them to works inspired by contemporary media art and the media environment. Exhibitions and workshops of hands-on and participatory works are held.

This year’s event is titled “Tools for Play,” and uses the motif of “tools,” which are the origin of human invention and technology. The theme is to reconsider things in various ways depending on whether you want to “play.”

Through the “Tools for Play” exhibition, you can change your perspective on tools, free them from their usual roles, look inside them, and investigate their mechanisms. Let’s expand our imagination, from the tools we usually use to the newly created tools.
