LGBTQIA Youth: A Village of Support

LGBTQIA youth

This month’s Exceptional Parenting Program will feature a panel discussion on support for LGBTQIA youth. A euphemism for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Asexual, this discussion will aim to help those sexual minorities which face discrimination and criticism. Panelists include Sara Hoskins from the ASIJ Queer Equality Alliance, Arunansu Patra of the YIS LGBTQ Human Rights Group, Michael Clemons of NPO YouMeWe, and Ron Fast of Tokyo Well-Being. The talk will consist of how to support LGBTQIA+ and questioning youth. This event is FREE and open to the public; donations of 1000 yen are appreciated.
