Mameko Maeda presents her first ever solo exhibition “Lovely Tempo” at UltraSuperNewGallery in Harajuku. She began her career as an illustrator in 2020 and draws inspiration from a palette of fields such as music, dance, fashion, anime, subcultures and philosophy. You might recognize this illustrator’s dreamy, pastel-colored characters in imaginary spaces from t-shirts and tattoo designs which have also attracted attention from clients such as john masters organics and Isetan. Step into the artist’s funky dreamscape with the over 30 pieces on display.
