The New National Theatre Tokyo is holding the French opera masterpiece “Pelléas et Mélisande” directed by genius Katie Mitchell and conducted by Kazushi Ono throughout the beginning of July. “Pelléas et Mélisande” beautifully portrays the story of love and hate in a closed castle, mysteriously, symbolically, and tensely spelled out.
