Prices VaryThe artist Hasegawa Tōhaku, a renowned artist of the Azuchi-Momoyama period – 1573-1603 CE – is most famous for his masterpiece byōbu folding screen ink painting Pine Trees. Considered one of the most valuable, national treasures housed at the Tokyo National Museum (TNM) “Pine Trees: Tōhaku’s Masterpiece in Ink” investigates the seminal work. The unique virtual reality experience at the TNM & TOPPAN Museum Theater and explores the mysterious work and the life of Tohaku. Learn more about the charms and mysteries of Pine Trees as well as commentary on his other famous works, such as Maple Tree and Cherry Blossoms.
