BLM Tokyo | RealTalk. Webinar Series
Tokyo united for racial equality

Episode #1: Panel Discussion
“What’s the Black Lives Matter movement really about?”

Presented by Black Lives Matter Tokyo, RealTalk. is a new web-based educational series that aims to explore the topics surrounding racism and systemic injustice in the US, Japan and around the world. In each episode, we will engage in important conversations around breaking down stereotypes, achieving racial equity, embracing inclusion and many more.

For our first episode, we invite the key organiser of BLM Tokyo, Sierra Todd along with several speakers to share their views on the Black Lives Matter movement. The panellists will talk about what BLM means to them, explore a brief history of the movement, its role in Japan, and what we can do to help achieve racial equality. Save the date.
