Prolific photographer Robert Doisneau, 1912 – 1994, has produced approximately 450,000 photographs throughout his extensive career, with Paris being the main muse of his life and photography. The Bunkamura Museum exhibits his fascination for Paris in the “Robert Doisneau La Musique Paris.” The exhibition explores loving Paris and being loved by Paris through the theme of music with around 200 works. The exhibition is organised into seven sections exploring Paris and music through Doisneau’s lens: “LA RUE” (the street), “CHANTEURS” (singers), “BISTROTS, CABARETS” (bistros and cabaret), “JAZZ & GITANZ,” “STUDIOS,” “OPERA,” “Maurice BAQUET” and “LES ANNEES 80–90” (the 80s and 90s).

Costs: ¥1,500 for adults, ¥700 for university and high school students and ¥400 for school students
