Prices VaryThe Sompo Museum of Art is exhibiting 140 items from its extensive Seiji Togo collection in “Seiji Togo’s Souvenirs from the Collection of the Sompo Museum of Art.” Togo, 1897-1978, is famous for his Western-influenced Japanese art work, greatly inspired by his seven-year stay in France as well as his almost annual trips abroad from the age of 63. Focusing on the travel that influenced his work, the exhibition will feature his well-known depictions of what are known as the “Seiji Beauties” – paintings and sculptures of modern Japanese women in his characteristic Western style.
Prices: ¥1,000 for adults, ¥700 for university students
Opening hours: 10am – 6pm, everyday except Mondays
