The Tokyo Photographic Art Museum is presenting a rare collection of astrophotography in “Space Odyssey of 13.8 billion light-years.” The exhibition focuses on NASA’s astronomical images and features selections captured by satellites, planetary probes and telescopes. The high-quality silver halide photographic prints allow you to experience the solar system, nebulas and star clusters of the Milky Way just as the astronauts and probes viewed them. 2020 also marks a momentous year in space exploration, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope launch, which is also featured in this exhibition, and the 15th anniversary of the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter launch.

Opening hours: 10am – 6pm, closed on Mondays

Costs: ¥1,000 for adults, ¥800 for college students, ¥600 for high school, junior high school students and over 65s
