Six of Japan’s most reputable contemporary artists come together in an exhibition that transcends national and cultural boundaries. Appropriately titled, STARS explores the creative journeys of Yayoi Kusama, Lee Ufan, Takashi Murakami, Yoshitomo Nara and other well-known artists from the early stages of their careers to now, celebrating their work as some of the greatest of our time. The exhibit also presents archival materials from major Japanese art shows staged worldwide from the 1950s onward, offering a peek into the country’s international artistic lineage.
