A five-part documentary series from founder of idol underworld, Derrick Vasconi, following the lives of underground idols. The series features behind the scenes interviews with idols and groups discussing the industry and how and why they became involved in underground idol subculture.
Episode 1: Wednesday, July 14
Reviews the present and past of underground idol subculture
Episode 2: Thursday, July 15th
Idols and producers discuss the creative aspects of the industry
Episode 3: Friday, July 16th
Looks at the relationship between “Otaku Fandom” and idols and fans.
Episode 4: Saturday, July 17
Reveals the daily lives of underground idols who have exceeded their limits.
Episode 5: Sunday, July 18
The conclusion of the story of present day underground idols paving the way for future generations.
Each session begins at 6:30pm with screening at 7:00pm. Discussions with the director and performers are planned for each session but subject to change.
