Tea has a long history in Japan and sado (tea ceremony) is a practice almost uniquely culturally important in that history. Tokyo Grand Tea ceremony gives visitors the opportunity to try this custom, and with displays in both Japanese and English, folks previously unfamiliar with the custom need not fear.
The event will be divided into 2 parts, the first half from October 5-6 at the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum and the second from October 19-20 at the Hama-rikyu Gardens in Chuo-ku.
