High school students preparing for the upcoming university entrance exams got a boost from an unexpected source: Nestlé. On January 7, the food-manufacturing giant unveiled the limited-time-only Sakura Saku Juken Ouen Cafe in Harajuku. The venue is a tie-up with Tokyo University, whose braniac students are on hand to help tutor the customers. Also gracing the cafe are actual old akahon (exam booklets), “brain food” and original KitKat chocolate bars devised by the Todai students themselves. This study space/refueling station is open 11am-9pm through January 25.
