Jeremy Seifert has a point. He wants agribusiness giants like Monsanto to be more accountable, and labels on foods that contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs). But his unconvincing, lamely manipulative, and simplistic arguments include making fun of technical jargon (“I’m not a scientist”), fuzzy motivations (including a nod to Creationism), jarring leaps in logic, and the trotting out of home movies of his kids every ten minutes. (“I wish I could take back the land for my children.”) Gimme a friggin’ break. By the end, this preachy Michael Moore wannabe almost had me rooting for Monsanto. (90 min)
