We are seeking a talented and insightful writer to accompany us to the G20 Summit in Brazil this November. You will write for our sister publication, Global Magazine, which is serving as the official magazine of the G20, as well as contribute to POV.

While the G20 is covered extensively by major media outlets, our focus is on capturing the voices and perspectives of individuals who may not typically have the platform to speak on G20-related topics that matter to them. The writer will need to create articles that highlight these underrepresented viewpoints in an engaging and thoughtful way.

Responsibilities:

• Attend G20 Summit in Brazil, November 2024
• Write articles for Global Magazine and POV
• Focus on unique, underrepresented perspectives on key G20 issues
• Meet publication deadlines and media credential deadlines

Requirements:

• Strong journalistic or feature-writing background
• Experience covering international events, politics, or global issues is a plus
• Ability to source and elevate diverse voices
• Availability to travel in November
• Must meet media credentialing deadline by the end of October
