On the last Friday of every month, the pipe organ that stands at the back of the main hall inside the Tsukiji Honganji temple is tickled awake. Running for only half an hour between 12:20 and 12:50pm, these monthly concerts are a rare exhibition of a pipe organ in use, particularly in Japan.
British keyboardist Morgan Fisher if often remembered for his time with 70s group Mott the Hoople. But now he continues his monthly solo concerts in his cosy yet spacious home studio here in Tokyo. Morgan Fisher has been a resident in Tokyo since 1985, composing and performing from his studio Morgan's Salon which seats up to a cute 35 people.
