Mara Duer is a sociologist graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with a Master's degree in Peace Studies and International Conflict Resolution from Tokyo Christian University and a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick (England). Mara lived in Tokyo for two years as a Rotary International World Peace Fellow, International Christian University (ICU) (2010-2012).
