Roppongi Hills will once again transform into a crossroads of sound and creativity this Golden Week, as Mori Building Co., Ltd. teams up with radio station J-WAVE to present the free live event “J-WAVE & Roppongi Hills present TOKYO M.A.P.S STUTS EDITION.” 

The two-day festival takes place May 2 and 3 at the Roppongi Hills Arena.

Launched in 2008, TOKYO M.A.P.S has built a reputation as a multidisciplinary showcase spanning music, art and performance.

Each year, a leading figure from the music scene is invited to curate the program. For 2026, producer and trackmaker STUTS steps into the role, bringing together a diverse lineup of artists under the theme “Sound Crossroads.” Through STUTS’ curation, performers interpret the concept in their own ways, creating a series of genre-blurring live sets.

On May 2, audiences can catch performances by STUTS, Elle Teresa, KID FRESINO, Sai, Satoko Shibata and Sonsi. The following day features KMC & STUTS, Kaneko Ayano, Akihisa Kitazato, tofubeats and a special collaboration between U-zhaan, Tamaki ROY and Chinza DOPENESS.

TOKYO M.A.P.S positions itself as an evolving “map” of Tokyo—one not defined by streets or landmarks, but by artistic expression. Music, art and performance converge to form a dynamic landscape, where multiple “maps” intersect and give rise to spontaneous sessions and new creative flows.

Admission is free, making it one of Golden Week’s most accessible large-scale cultural events in the city.
