The passionate feminist group, Tomorrow Girls Troop, will be presenting their solo exhibition ‘We can do it!’ this July.
Join us on a journey of the inspiring work that Tomorrow Girls Troop has done for human rights over the past 9 years. Titled “We Can Do It!,” the group’s artwork fearlessly addresses the discrimination and injustices that women and members of the LGBTQ+ community face in Japan and East Asia.
Exploring the creative ways in which art and activism are used in tandem, the exhibition delves into their past work including: the amendment of sexual assault criminal laws, the definition of feminism in the Kojien (a renowned Japanese dictionary), and the crucial work surrounding Comfort Women and transgender rights.
Tomorrow Girls Troop’s remarkable work for feminism has garnered them worldwide recognition, having been featured in media across Europe, the United States, and Asia. Don’t miss a chance to experience their powerful artwork firsthand and be inspired to create positive change!
The Exhibition will also feature some additional exclusive events:
- Opening Reception: Friday July 21 at 6:30pm (¥1500 with free drinks)

- Japan-Korea Feminist Exchange Meeting

- Weekends: 11:00am – 7:00pm
