Vietnam Festival 2026

May 30, 2026 at 10:00am ~ May 31, 2026 at 8:00pm

The sights, sounds and flavors of Vietnam take over Tokyo when Vietnam Festival 2026 returns to Yoyogi Park this spring. Held over two days on May 30–31, the annual event is one of the largest Vietnamese cultural festivals in Japan, drawing tens of thousands of visitors each year.

First launched in 2008, the festival celebrates the close cultural and economic ties between Vietnam and Japan. Throughout the weekend, visitors can explore dozens of food stalls serving classic Vietnamese dishes such as pho, banh mi and fresh spring rolls. Alongside the food vendors, the event features cultural booths, travel information stands and specialty shops selling Vietnamese products and crafts.

Live entertainment is another major draw. The festival’s outdoor stage hosts a full lineup of performances across both days, including Vietnamese pop artists, traditional dance groups and guest performers from Japan. Previous editions have featured well-known singers from Vietnam as well as Vietnamese artists based in Japan, creating a lively mix of music and cultural exchange.

With food, music and cultural showcases running from morning into the evening, Vietnam Festival offers a relaxed outdoor atmosphere that feels more like a street celebration than a formal cultural event. Whether you come for a bowl of pho, a Vietnamese iced coffee or the live stage performances, it’s one of Tokyo’s most popular international festivals of the early summer season.
