Currently holding the Kenzo Tange Chair at Harvard University named after the famous Japanese architect, Swiss-born Valerio Olgiati is known for the Japanese influences in his designs for museums, school buildings and residential developments. Models he created for the Architecture Biennale 2010 in Venice are currently on display in Tokyo, demonstrating what the curators at MOMAT call his talent for “elegantly combining daring forms and simple plans.”
