JAPANESE ARTISTS ADO, ATARASHII GAKKO!, AND YOASOBISET TO PERFORM AT CEIPA’S INAUGURAL MATSURI ’25

The Japan Culture and Entertainment Industry Promotion Association, a general incorporated association focused on promoting Japanese music, will hold “matsuri ‘25: Japanese Music Experience LOS ANGELES” in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 16, 2025, to promote top-level Japanese music to the world. Three artists will perform at this first-of-its-kind concert: Ado, ATARASHII GAKKO!, and YOASOBI.

This event highlights Japanese artists on the cutting edge of international pop and who have attracted attention from listeners around the globe. In addition to live performances by the trio of artists, there will also be a press conference hosted by Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) for Japanese and American music industry professionals and media.

With the goal of supporting Japanese artists in their aim of becoming globally established, CEPIA aims to use this US event as a springboard to further their mission. In addition, a portion of the ticket proceeds from this event will be donated to relief efforts for the fires in the Los Angeles area. CEIPA is also holding the inaugural “MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN” in May 2025 in Kyoto, Japan – to be streamed globally on YouTube.
