Kick off the New Year in style with Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo’s 2025 New Year Afternoon Tea, a collaboration with shu uemura, Japan’s first makeup artist brand celebrated worldwide for championing “individual beauty.” This special afternoon tea is inspired by shu uemura’s hanami glacé Collection, launching January 17, 2025. The menu captures the fresh, joyful spirit of an early spring with sweets that blend creativity and charm. Highlights include sweets inspired by shu uemura’s iconic eye palettes, chocolate shaped like lipsticks, and desserts that mimic the textures of cosmetics—think glossy, matte, and glittery finishes.
