The Field is a Tokyo-based music project consisting of cellist and vocalist Asaka Igarashi and tuba player Gideon Juckes. Drawing on folk tradition and new composition, the project creates intimate music that spans centuries and cultures.

This concert marks The Field’s first live performance, taking place in a beautiful 19th century farmhouse in Toshimaen, Tokyo. A new recording will be available to purchase exclusively at the venue.
