Médecins du Monde: Charity Concert

Join the Bridging Hope concert series supporting Médecins du Monde Japan’s humanitarian medical aid efforts. Now in its third year, this concert series—in collaboration with pianist Gen Tomuro—aims to raise awareness and funds for global healthcare.

This year’s concert will take place at the International House of Japan, a hub for cultural exchange and international mutual understanding. Amid global conflicts and crises, your attendance helps bring essential medical support to those in urgent need, from Ukraine and Palestine to Turkey, Syria, and Afghanistan.

● Seating: All seats must be reserved in advance.
General (all free seating) donations of 5,000 yen or more
*Pre-school children are not permitted.
*Wheelchair access is available. Please enquire if you require wheelchair seating.

Gen Tomuro Profile:

Born in Tokyo, Gen Tomuro grew up in San Francisco, Boston, and Paris from the age of six. He was discovered by French pianist Philippe Entremont and moved to Paris, where he made his concerto debut at Salle Gaveau in 2008 and has since performed with numerous national and international orchestras. He is currently active in Japan and abroad as a solo recitalist and concerto soloist with orchestras.
