“Monozukuri–A Celebration of Japanese Artisanal Techniques 2023” aims to celebrate all things artisanal. Craftsmen from clothing, food, housing and industry disciplines will put their work on display and demonstrate their craft on stage. In addition to this, over ninety booths will provide a hands-on experience where the public can try making woodwork, omelets and stamps with the assistance of artisans.

The Youth Event section will offer visitors the chance to try cutting-edge technologies for themselves with help from students of technical high schools in Metropolitan Tokyo. Guests can rest in the Tea Room where there will be ceremonies, flower arranging and Japanese Dance and Koto (Japanese harp) performances by high school students.

This year’s special supporters are celebrity and actress Ms. Suzu Yamanouchi, model and actress Ms. Asuka Kijima, and actor Mr. Co-ki Yamashita. They will be working together with the artisans to liven up each day’s events on stage.
