To mark its 30th anniversary, the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum presents the highly anticipated solo exhibition, Takano Ryudai: Kasubaba – To Survive in Everyday Life.

Through the lens of renowned photographer Ryudai Takano, this exhibition examines the nuances of everyday existence, challenging conventional notions of identity, space and intimacy. Blending photography, visual narratives and immersive experiences, Kasubaba encourages visitors to contemplate the intricacies of human interactions and urban life.

With its compelling exploration of visual storytelling, the exhibition engages audiences in themes of identity, cityscapes and the resilience of daily survival. Takano’s distinctive perspective offers a rare insight into his artistic evolution and creative vision.

In addition, visitors can explore the Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions 2025 on the third floor, as well as the APA Awards 2025 exhibition in the museum’s basement level.
