We’re looking for a freelance videographer/editor to create short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) focused on lifestyle, travel and culture in Japan. This is a project-based role with potential for ongoing work.

*Applicants must be based in Japan and have valid permission to work in Japan

What You’ll Do

Shoot and edit short-form videos (15–60 seconds)
Turn raw footage into clean, engaging vertical content
Capture on-location footage across Japan (as needed)
Edit with strong pacing, subtitles (when needed) and platform-appropriate formatting
Collaborate with our team on concepts and creative direction

What We’re Looking For

Experience creating Reels, TikToks or Shorts (please share examples)
Strong sense of pacing and storytelling for short-form content
Ability to shoot stable, high-quality footage
Basic color correction and audio cleanup skills
Familiarity with current social media trends
Based in Japan (Tokyo or nearby preferred)
Experience with travel, food or cultural content
Ability to handle both filming and editing
