Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Core Responsibilities:
    • Host lively sales streams in fluent English on the US marketplace app “Whatnot”.
    • Present authenticated designer luxury goods (handbags, wallets, accessories) and interact with global viewers in real time.
    • Facilitate live auctions, highlight item conditions, and answer viewer questions.
    • Hand over final order records to internal support staff (packaging, dispatch, and physical inventory management are fully covered by our logistics team).
  • Required Skills & Experience:
    • Native or professional-level English fluency.
    • Conversational Japanese (for smooth coordination with our Japanese studio team).
    • Outgoing, engaging, and confident camera presence.
    • Valid Japanese work-eligible residency status (Student, Dependent, Spouse, Permanent Resident, etc.).
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Background in livestreaming, video content creation, customer relations, or retail sales.
    • Interest in luxury fashion, vintage goods, or designer labels.
  • Position Level: Entry-level to Mid-level (Comprehensive hands-on training provided).

Compensation & Logistics

  • Compensation: ¥2,000 – ¥2,200 / hour (Training period: 3 months at ¥1,800 / hour)

  • Working Days & Hours: Approx. 20 hours / week (e.g., 4 days / week, ~5 hours / day). Fully compliant with student and dependent visa limits (under 28 hrs/week).
