International manga artists from all corners of the globe gather for a one-of-a-kind event at Shibuya’s Parco this coming Sunday to discuss their art. Three creators will give lectures on their works, allowing exclusive insight into the creative process behind the art of the “foreign” manga artist. They will discuss the diversity of manga expression as it is now and how it will develop in the future, as manga culture becomes more internationalized.

There will also be a live-paint showdown, with the theme to be decided by event participants on the day—a valuable opportunity to see the creators’ work process from idea to final composition.

Attending lecturers will be Wisut Ponnimut from Thailand, creator of Katch, Ken Nimura from Spain of I Kill Giants notoriety, Takeshi Miyazawa, born in Canada and artist for Marvel’s Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane, and more.
