True Colors Film Festival 2021

Dec 03, 2021 at 12:00am ~ Dec 12, 2021 at 11:59pm

True Colors Film Festival, a long-running international festival of performing arts events, is free-to-stream and runs online from December 3 – 12, 2021. Several of the films are Japanese or are based on the lives of prominent Japanese, including Kusama Infinity, Dad’s Wedding and When a Song Begins. This year, True Colors Festival released three documentaries. Clothes in Conversation (New York Film Awards winner of Best Documentary Feature and Official Selection, Fashion Film Festival Milano) and The Future is Now! push the boundaries of fashion as we know it. When the Song Begins: One Year Later documents the reunion of When the Song Begins (also showing at TCFF 2021) director Hiroki Kawai, and deaf photographer and subject of the film Harumichi Saitoh. Check out the full selection of films on the Projector Plus, Filmbankmedia and Vimeo platforms.
