DMC World DJ Championship 2026

The largest DJ competition, DMC World DJ Championships, is back in Japan with a final live competition at WOMBLIVE in Shibuya.
The competition features four categories: the CLASSIC, BATTLE FOR SUPREMACY, SCRATCH BATTLE and OPEN (no equipment restrictions). Entry for the categories are now open on the official website.
The competition has produced numerous world-class artists, including Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee MIX MASTER MIKE from Beastie Boys, Grammy-nominee A-TRAK (Duck Sauce), HUDSON MOHAWKE and CASHMERE CAT.
In Japan, the championships have been held since 1990, producing legendary world champions such as DJ KENTARO, DJ IZOH, and DJ Matsunaga from Creepy Nuts – who recently swept seven awards at the 2025 MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN.

June: Online Elimination for CLASSIC
July: Online Elimination for BATTLE FOR SUPREMACY, SCRATCH BATTLE, THE OPEN
August 29: JAPAN FINAL at WOMBLIVE in Shibuya / Tokyo
November 12-15: WORLD FINAL (To be announced)
