Spring arrives in central Tokyo with petals suspended mid-air at Hello, Spring! 2026 in Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, a seasonal celebration transforming Tokyo Station’s Yaesu side into a flower-filled urban garden. Running from March 13 to April 5, the event combines large-scale floral installations, sustainable workshops, live music and limited-time spring menus — all just steps from Tokyo Station.

FLOWER SHOWER: A Spring Installation in the Atrium

At the heart of the event is FLOWER SHOWER, a striking installation inside the 1F atrium of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu. Standing approximately 3.5 meters tall, the display captures the fleeting moment of petals drifting through the air. The installation uses reusable artificial flowers to create a vibrant, immersive photo spot that feels like stepping into a spring breeze.

Because it’s located indoors, visitors can enjoy the installation comfortably regardless of weather — making it an ideal stop during a Tokyo sightseeing day, lunch break or after-work stroll near Tokyo Station.

Sustainable Spring Workshops

A highlight of the 2026 program is a collaboration with #flowership, a Tokyo-based florist specializing in “loss flowers” — blooms that are perfectly fresh but would otherwise be discarded due to overstock or distribution issues.

Create your own bouquet using rescued seasonal flowers in this limited two-day workshop.

Live Spring Music Performances

On March 20 and 21, students from Tokyo College of Music will perform seasonal songs in the atrium, sending encouragement to those starting new chapters this spring — a fitting tribute during Japan’s graduation and relocation season.

Expect choral pieces and contemporary Japanese spring classics performed live beneath the floating petals.

Spring Gourmet & Gift Highlights

Throughout the venue, shops and restaurants will offer limited-time spring menus and curated gift items, from sakura muffins and strawberry parfaits to Italian pasta with seasonal ingredients. Yaesu Public on the 2F terrace will also transform into a cherry blossom-inspired dining space from March 6 to April 12, perfect for casual hanami-style gatherings with Tokyo Station views.
