The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is working together with local businesses in the Tokyo Waterfront City area. They develop a district where visitors can enjoy exploring the area as they walk around. As part of this initiative, an illumination event, “LIGHT WALK ODAIBA” will be held for the first time from December 4 to December 27, 2025.

Lighting Ceremony

The event will feature a light-filled promenade route stretching approximately 2 km and spanning about 15 spots, with Yume-no-Ohashi Bridge in Symbol Promenade Park as the main venue. Come and discover new charms of the Tokyo Waterfront City area as you encounter delightful scenes with each step. At Yume-no-Ohashi Bridge, the event will showcase the “SEAGULL CLOCK,” a clock tower inspired by the Tokyo Metropolitan bird, the black-headed gull. Additionally, a cast of unique characters will guide you from various illuminated spots throughout the venue to the SEAGULL CLOCK. Creating an immersive, storybook-like experience. Seasonal limited-edition drinks and food items will also be available on-site to enhance the festive atmosphere of the Christmas season.
