Solo exhibition “Morphosis” by the French artist Martin Bertlo (@martinberteloodt) will be held at CONTRAST.
Over the past year and a half, “Morphosis” delves deeper into the realms of tactile and visual expression, focusing on the subtle complexity of sensual and intricate emotions, inspired by the piece “A Contaminated Love Story” created in 2023. Influenced by Dark Surrealism, the exhibition combines elements of the grotesque and beauty, depicting a contrast between chaos and tranquility.
The exhibition explores various media, including sculptures, prints, photographs, AR installations, performances, as well as masks, wearables and short films created with 3D printers.
The opening on November 24 requires an entrance fee of ¥1,000 and attendees can enjoy drinks, performances and animations.
