After a breakout year that pushed it onto the global nightlife map, OHJO in Kabukicho is closing out 2025 with its largest event yet: OHJO RAVE NYE 2026, a seven-hour, three-floor New Year’s Eve marathon spanning techno, house, trance and schranz.

Often referred to internationally as the “red-brick castle of Kabukicho,” OHJO has become a magnet for underground music fans and nightlife travelers visiting Tokyo. Throughout 2025, the venue brought in an impressive lineup of international heavyweights—including Layton Giordani, 999999999, Paolo Ferrara, Héctor Oaks, Vendex, Alan Dixon, Christian Smith and Radio Slave—solidifying its reputation as a must-play stop for touring DJs in Asia.

Sitting just steps from Kabukicho Tower, the venue stands out for its layered architecture and cinematic interior, but also for the energy of its crowd. OHJO draws one of the highest proportions of foreign visitors on Tokyo’s dancefloors, creating a rare intersection where local ravers, expats and global travelers converge in one space.

This year’s NYE edition aims to capture that cross-cultural momentum with three curated zones: high-octane techno and trance in Room3, hard techno and schranz in Room2, and groove-first house in the Red Lounge. With a limited batch of advance tickets and staggered entry pricing, the event is shaping up to be one of Kabukicho’s biggest countdowns.
