Held from June 5 to 7, 2026 at Hibiya Park, the Paella and Tapas Festival returns as Japan’s largest celebration of Spanish cuisine. Alongside plenty of food to sample, the event hosts the National Paella Championship and National Tapas Championship, with winners decided by visitor votes. Highlights include the Valenciana Paella Japan Competition, where chefs cook traditional paella with chicken and rabbit over a wood fire, and the official selection of Japan’s representative for the World Paella Day Cup in Valencia, Spain.
