Typically held the Wednesday before Fuji Rock Festival, the 22nd edition of Radical Music Network Festival will be held on Sunday August 15 featuring an eclectic lineup of local artists. Born from a dream to host a world class international music event in Japan, Radical Music Network has amassed a strong local following and hosted an amazing list of local and international artists over its 22 years as well as participating at a number of Fuji Rock Festivals. This year’s artists include Japanese reggae legends: Rankin Taxi, Likkle Mai & The K, Marleys, Oreskaband, The Tokyo Locals, Goki Full Swing, Dub Poetry: Keijiro Suga & DJ Hummingbird, and Tokyo’s club music scene legends: Caribbean Dandy Selecta. The festival organisers, who describe themselves as “a bunch of friends from Argentina and Japanese music enthusiasts” say they look forward to hosting a diverse international audience at this year’s special event.
