UltraSuperNew Gallery is excited to present a powerful solo exhibition ‘Resonating Together’ by Saki Otsuka. Through a captivating collection of photographs, Otsuka explores the profound connections that link women together.
“Seven women. I am a woman behind the camera.
We are connected as women – experiencing pain, fear, joy, and possessing strong physical bodies”.
Otsuka expresses that within the tapestry of our individual experiences, there are shared elements that unite us. Without uttering a word, we are able to comprehend the same emotions of pain, frustration, and emptiness that often accompany womanhood.
In this exhibition, she demonstrates the transformational impact of capturing women as subjects in photography.
